Meads and The Money Shop

Meads started working in partnership with The Money Shop in 2002, storing and distributing a small amount of POS material and leaflets, when they were a fairly small business with around 70 outlets nationwide. Their growth over the past 8 years has seen them expand to over 360 stores in the UK and has seen them utilize more of Meads services.

We now carry out all of their direct mailing activity, promotional kit collations, promotional merchandise storage and fulfillment as well as continuing to send out their POS and leaflets.

In an average week, Meads will handle a store opening pack, over 100 store replenishment orders and a couple of customer mailings. At present we store over 200 different promotional and merchandising items for the Money Shop.

In 2005, Meads approached The Money Shop management with an online ordering system proposal. This resulted in the creation of an online stock and order management system for The Money Shop which allows any authorized member of staff to login and check stock availability and usage, see the progress of orders through the Meads system, obtain tracking information for sent items and of course place new store orders with a simple e-cart style ordering portal.

This system revolutionized the way that The Money Shop communicated with Meads and reduced the number of phone calls and emails dramatically and has freed up time and resource at both companies.
